" So, in my mind, this is just a wonderful short film. The animation is fabulous, the topic is french fries and does not aim to be anything else. It is a pure cooking film: The homemade improvised quality (especially the water) is charming. The animation timing and editing are spot on and last but not least, It is handmade through and through, even the titles, - it's a complete artistic statement on the magic of french fries. Lovely! "

"This is very nicely put together. It uses silhouettes effectively to both show and not show the characters, which gives the ones asking the questions some privacy. I quite liked that. The film is thought-provoking, philosophical and insightful, and it made me want the film to last longer. This film has both style and content. Well done!"

"This film is a gem in many ways. It tackles the problem of mental health among young people. This young woman is quite privileged. She goes to a nice school, has a nice home. She doesn't look neglected. I don't feel sorry for her and she kind of blends into the routine. But then suddenly she's not there anymore. The film is nicely photographed and the editing underscores the repetition in her life. Same things happen over and over again. The shots are well composed and the acting is solid. I really liked this and I think the director shows a strong talent for both form and content. Bravo! "
